I have purchased SWR and found it very overwhelming at first (i just posted this on another thread) however i have read that it is a really great program. hope this helps b/c when i bought it 2 years ago and still haven't found the time or energy to figure it out. i think spelling workout appears to be more user friendly. where i worked before we used spelling power and that was ok, and easy.

Hi I purchased spelling to write and read a couple of years ago and i lost interest in using this as a spelling program for my now 7.5 year old. Has anyone used this program before and have advice? thanks!

I have 3 boys, one 7.5 in school (2nd grade) and 5 (will attend K) and 2.5. It's been a challenge trying to teach them anything because life has been busy, but now I'm really making an effort. Oldest is very bright and I feel enjoys anything extra. I struggle with finding the time (who doesn't) and I get easily overwhelmed with what all we can do! I am here to learn ideas and hopefully provide some of my own some day! :)
