  1. Yes, love it! We have actually moved to the online version, though, for the sake of electronic portability.

What, in particular, are you having trouble with? That might help to direct some guidance. ;)

How are you liking the online version?

I debating making the switch but I don't know how I feel about spending $60 vs just using the cd I already own.

  3. We are printing save the date photo cards. She has a large list to mail out to and she is trying to keep her costs low to save on supplies for when she orders her flowers and things she will need for invitations.

I am looking for a place where I can print cards we make vs using someone elses style.

re: print at home. It would cost more printing at home since she doesn't have a good quality printer.

  4. This is really tempting me. I have a few questions:

For the middle school levels are their printed materials or do you have to download?

Is this something that needs to be supplemented heavily?

ETA: Can the modules be done out of order? I'm thinking I would do module K over the summer than move to module B in the Fall.

  5. I have really enjoyed our time with Saxon Phonics K. I attempted to you OPGTR but my ds need more and this worked at the perfect pace for him. He did know all his letter sounds and I was reluctant at first to use it but if you use the program as is your dc walks away knowing a lot of words by the end of the K year. I will be continiuing with the program. I think it doesn't get a lot of mention because of people being "scarred" from using the Saxon math program.

I love threads like this, on this forum there are certain programs that get a lot of talk but a lot of others that don't get talked about. Even if a program gets mentioned in passing it might give someone a chance to research it more. Which is how I stumbled upon Saxon phonics. Now if the same thing could happen for math.

  6. My ds is only in K. So when we went through dreambox he had completed 80% curriculum and 30% of grade one. We just started back today and in the with the assessments he has gotten close to where he was K wise, which is nice since he had hit a wall and didn't want to play anymore.
