Said goodbye to my sweet companion of 7 years. My Lucy was the best doggy, always happy and she loved everyone. There is an empty spot in my heart and home but she is no longer suffering.
Thanks for the sympathy :) I keep finding myself talking to her and then remembering that she isn't here. It's a weird feeling. She was the only other female in the household :)
I know what you mean. I used to listen for paws padding around before realizing they weren't there. We didn't last very long without a doggie in the house. :)
