No, but I want to get a permit. No guns in our house. I am rare in my area. Most of the homeschool moms I know conceal and carry.

My patronus is a Nebelung Cat. Two of my dds were a type of cat and my youngest dd was a Badger.

ETA: In the beginning when I didn't know what I was dealing with, medication was a lifesaver. After 10+ years of anxiety, running became my therapy.

I'm interested in this too. There seems to be a reading comprehension issue with one of mine. ADHD - inattentive doesn't seem to be all of it. Is there some reading disability that's NOT dyslexia that prevents early readers from focusing?
I don't know if this will help, but my 8dd was just diagnosed with Convergence Ineffiency - http://www.convergenceinsufficiency.org/.
I am still learning about it. She goes for testing in a couple weeks to see if she is a candidate for vision therapy. The doctor said they are finding that some students who are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD actually have a form of this.
My daughter has been slow to learn to read and I just thought it was lack of interest.

Same thing has happened to every pair of Clarks I have ever owned. Needless to say, I no longer buy Clarks.

A friend's 9 yr old dd got pancreatitis when a virus attacked her pancreas. So instead of just getting a virus like most with cold, fever, etc., it went straight to her pancreas. She was in the hospital and really sick for a couple weeks.

With my husband's job we stayed across the street in an apartment but I always thought if we came to visit on our own that we would stay there.

I've lived in Arkansas most of my life and have never heard that term. But maybe it's common in a different part of Arkansas. I've lived mostly in northwest Arkansas or the River Valley.
