I'm looking for a group of homeschoolers in SC. I've looked but can't find a geographical group on here. I hope I'm just missing it, I'd love to meet others in my area.

Thank you! I'm worried bc Language Arts is so much more than just spelling. Is AAS "enough" for the subject? or is it more supplemental?

I will be using My Fathers World K and 3rd this year and have no idea what to use for Language Arts. My dd, 3rd grade, likes workbooks best. I'm just not sure about LA. Can anyone give any advice about All About Spelling/Reading? I'm not sure if it gives a full knowledge of what the child should know in this subject. Thank you for any help/guidance you can give me. I received a course of study list last year for the First grade but this year was not able to get it. Anyone know where I can find this information? I just liked having a list of what the typical child should know in each grade. I have searched the internet and can't find it. PLEASE help me if you know of such a list. Thanks, Christina

My daughter will be in 1st grade this year. It's our first year and I want to make sure everything is in order. I'm confused on how to keep track of attendance. Also, do I have to keep EVERYTHING my child writes on? I know I'm suppossed to keep records of all her work but I'm not sure how extensive they want. Any advice for record tracking or programs/systems used, preferably free, would be awesome. Please help! Thank you in advance. Christina
