im doing spelling power with both my 4th grader and 3rd grader and its not going well. my 4th grader works VERY independently and does not like all the "mommy" time in spelling power. is there a spelling program where the child can work more independently or even totally on there own besides grading and a few pointers??? thanks!

oh thanks so much everyone!! i feel better about it :) when the doc blew it off i was kinda of upset by that... not that i actually wanted to do something about it either, but just felt i got the brush off. it bothers dd that she is bigger chested and taller than the 7th grade girls in her co op! and she has had to wear a bra for about 6 months now... but the growths is really picking up here lately.

thanks everyone!! i know... i didnt even realize the boy part of it yet... but there are 2 boys at co op that we have had "issues" with them liking her and taking it a tad far for 9!! :glare: are there any herbs or anything of that nature that may help??? glad to know at least we are not alone :) hugs!

hi ! i was wondering if anyone could help or had any ideas or info! my dd was 9 in october. she is 5 feet tall (the tallest in our family is 6ft male... all women are 5.4 and less). she has stage 2 almost 3 breast development and there is no longer the tuft of ubic hair it is fully spreading now. she has drank organic milk since she was 4, but barely has it 3 times a week. we watch most of what she eats and buy organic fruit and veggies and cheese as much as possible... none of it seems to make a difference anymore. ive taken her to the doc and she says this is more normal now than ever and to expect her period before her birthday!! WHAT????? any input, ideas, anything please! :D thanks!

ok... one last question :) writing as in copywork? i just purchased penwrite for her .... will that and spelling (we use spelling power) and GWG be a good match or am i still missing something? thank u so much for all the help! :grouphug:

we have so far done, HWT, a reason for writing and draw write now... but now we need something more mature.... what does everyone recommend?

do u like it? can it really be done independtly? and are the problems in the student workbook also online? roughly how long are the lectures on each lesson? anything u have to say about it id love to hear before i pay alot of money for it! thanks! :D
