As a rule, we don't pay until the insurance company has done their thing. It usually changes the amount due, even if we have to pay most/all to meet a deductable. Often, the change is SIGNIFICANT. (Once, from $30K to $2000 or so. Seriously.) Call the hospital and ask if you can wait until the insurance has been processed and still get the 10%. Chances are that will be fine.

I think you will enjoy it. My girls are now 12 and 10 and they enjoy it very much. We go every year. As a pp mentioned, you can actually get in at 4 pm. We just hang out and enjoy the pool and relax that day and then hit the park in the late afternoon. There are dance parties with the characters, free face painting, and other things you don't normally see. Go slow and take it all in. Disney even has the lights on the jack-o-lanterns synched to the music.
In fact, we were just talking about it today. It is all about the candy bucket for my girls. One year we made a GIR unit (from Invader Zim), one year we had a Pokeball. Last year my youngest went as Lilo and used her Stich with the zippered pj pouch for her bucket. Of course, it is still fun without a fancy costume or just using the bags Disney gives you.
Sounds like so much fun! I can't wait! "I" love Disney World as much as any kid!:D

Bumping for you as I am very interested in this as well. I have some similiar things going on but no answers from the doctors.
-
I think we are going to do it! Our youngest is 9 and I think this will really make this trip stand out. Thank you so much for telling me all of your experiences!

I hate my flat top and will go back to traditional burners when this dies.
:iagree:They are VERY hard to keep clean. I haven't had any issues scratching but it is impossible to clean up after something has boiled over. I haven't tried the razor though. I had a flat cook top about 10 years ago and didn't have this kind of trouble getting them clean. I just bought this one a year and a half ago.

Thanks to all of you! I am still thinking this over and I guess I need to check out allears.net-I have been on there to look at the latest news about the parks but never read the reviews. It is good to know that there aren't any real lines for the rides!

Has anyone ever been to Disney's Not So Scary Halloween Party? We are looking at taking a trip while they are having this and wanted to know if it was worth the extra cost(dd is 9 if that matters). ANY info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We are moving into gf eating and I am enjoying all the suggestions.
I keep instant brown rice on hand, my daughter loves it. I also keep frozen veggies, which can be microwaved quickly. Cottage and cheddar cheeses are staples here, and usually I have fruit fresh or in a can. So it's often a very simple meal, but gluten free.
We are trying to avoid what I think of as "mixture" meals as we get used to leaving out the wheat (and the million other things with hidden gluten!). So we are missing pizzas and tacos for now.
Ortega makes a gluten free taco shell. Also, McCormick has a natural taco seasoning mix that doesn't have gluten. FYI, for those out there with iphones, there is an app that is called Fooducate that you can scan an items bar code and it will tell you if it has gluten in it. Hope this helps!

He was quite possibly my all-time favorite actor.
Maybe we need to hide from the heat and have an "Andy Griffith Show" marathon in his honor today. (Or Matlock...LOVED that show)
:iagree: Loved Matlock!! Sad day indeed.

No kidding! We didn't get any last night, only the dirt.
That is insane. I spent a few summers in Florida panhandle when I was a teen. It might have hit 100 once. Usually it was high 90s. Horrible! I can't imagine that humidity at 106. I don't think I would even be able to breathe. Does the humidity at least drop when it is that high? Oh man, I can just feel it now! Ugh!
Yes, fortunately(or unfortunately) the humidity is 25% today. However, we are under a fire warning. It's a no win situation.

100 right now in GA. Will be 106 tomorrow and 107 on Saturday!!:glare:

I have sold some here but also on ebay and homeschoolclassifieds. However, I have become a little worried selling on homeschoolclassifieds because of some suspicious looking emails.
-
TNT will have Rizzoli and Isles and Franklin and Bash on this summer. I can't remember exactly when they start though.

:grouphug: No advice here but hoping you find some help.

When you click on "track" on the PayPal pages and it takes you to the USPS site, look over at the far right hand side and it should be listed under "features".

Good luck finding the doctor you are looking for. You could always check in Atlanta, I have heard Atlanta Children's Hospital does evaluations.
-
I recommend getting the evaluation done. We had dd evaluated last spring for ADHD but then this fall we had her evaluated by a neuropsychologist and was diagnosed with Aspergrs and ADHD. It really is best to know what you are dealing with. What area of GA are you in(understood if you would rather not say:))

Did your confirmation email state you would have it by Thursday? If there is a backorder it will give you the estimated date they will arrive. There have been a few times recently that the books I was ordering wouldn't be here within the 2 days.

As an Indy resident and Colts fan, I can honestly telling you you're getting a GREAT man. He will do good for your city, for your team...he's just a good guy all around.
But what John Elway has done to Tebow, and what Jim Irsay has done to so many Colts players and coaches, as well as the fans, is shameful. It's not business. Business doesn't *have* to screw with people and established relationships. Business doesn't *have* to be steeped in lies to the public. I hope Tim Tebow gets on a team that supports him and he is able to go above and beyond what he did last year.
:rant:TOTALLY DO NOT LIKE JOHN ELWAY.
I hope he goes home to Miami or Jacksonville. I am not a Denver fan or Indy fan-there are some quality individuals out there and Tebow was one of those(so is Manning). I just really hate it for him. Hopefully the fans give Elway and Irsay ****!
And to all posters, I really wasn't trying to stir up trouble on the boards, just venting my frustration. Sorry!!
I think I have a problem.
