I realize this may sound like a no-brainer, but would you let your child take unscanned gift cards from stores. No money was put on them. II am looking for some other opinions because my girlfriend and I are arguing over this. She thinks there is nothing wrong with it and has even given them to her kids. What do you think?

I would definately get an eval. I don't know how your school district/state works, but in many you can get free speech evals and services for your daughter. You can also do it privately but it will be expensive. Worth it though. I didn't even know where to begin to help my ds who has extensive speech articulation errors. I am new to the forum however have been a wtm "user" for 4 years with my dd (4th). I am gearing up to begin 1st grade with my next two in the fall, but my ds has issues. Unfortunately, we really don't know truly what they are. They could be anything from ASD (Aspergers or PDDNOS), ADHD, SPD, Vision? or who knows just a march to the beat of his own drummer type. The problem I am facing as I am sure many of you have is How to best obtain answers and Who's going to pay for that? Plus, am I insane because I want to follow wtm for him? Any advice would be greatly apprectiated. Pam

Hello, While I am new to this forum(cannot image why since I read WTM 7 years ago) I am now a pro(haha) homeschooler for 5 years. That being said I am finding all of the abbreviations overwhelming. The ones concerning peacehillpress books I have figured out, but I am at a loss when it comes to IEW, AG etc. Is there a key somewhere that I dont know about? Just curious. Pam
