  1. Thank you, everyone...this discussion has been very helpful. I have been considering TT with my 9yo son who is very behind in math only because I have been so slack and trying too many different new on the market programs. I still have not found one to just stick with and was considering getting TT.

I just got Singapore and would love to know what others think of that. It is quite colorful and seems simple...is it too simple, though?

  2. You can set it up to subscribe you to every thread you post (new or a reply).

    User Control Panel

choose Edit Options in the Settings & Options section on left

Under Default Thread Subscription mode you have to choose one of the options there (no email notification would still show you any updated subscribed threads if you click on User Control Panel)

    Thank you, too, Courtney!

  3. This was my first year with Classical Conversations. My 9yo son was in Foundations. He learned so much and even today was singing some of the history sentences that they learned. His geography skills and memory of the countries they learned amazes me! We only spent about 10 minutes each day going over the things that were taught in the once a week class so we had plenty of time to pursue other curriculum.

This next year we are re-enrolling in another year of CC and I plan to also incorporate MFW Exploring Countries and Cultures for the rest of the week. With this past years experience of CC I know that we will have plenty of time for it. Besides, the excitement that my son developed from doing geography in CC is why I know he will enjoy also doing MFW ECC.

I can't say enough good things about CC :)
