My neighbor had a divorce years back and she had custody of her 14yr daughter. We lived next to them for six years and her daughter was over our house almost everyday. My daughter and her daughter were inseparable. Well my neighbor recently got sick and was in long term care for almost two months. During the time she was in the hospital, she lost her daycare business, had no income and couldn't pay for her house and the bank took it and sold it. MY neighbor went to live in North Carolina with her oldest daughter and the Dad got custody of the 14 yr old daughter. The 14yrs old is living with the Dad's girl friend 4hrs away. The Dad goes up on the weekends and stays the weekend with them. The 14 yr old is having a very hard time and hates being there. The girl friend is very mean to her. I called her to say hi and the girl friend told her to get off the phone . She had told me she wanted to live with her Dad and move back here, but her dad said no. I wanted her to live with us ; she is like part of the family. I offered to pay for her tuition to the school my kids go to. She wanted to move in with us but her Dad won't let her. My heart is broken. How can I help her?? She is a very self sufficient kid she doesn't say anything to anyone about things that are bothering her. Thanks for listening Tina

Please get a copy of her labs!! Always! Most of the time Dr will say her thyroid is good but actually they are in the low range of normal. Make sure the Dr did test for Free T4 and Free T3 otherwise the DR could be relying only on the TSH which is flawed! I have dealing with this for a long time with all three of my children!:)

The real estate agent who brought an offer for our house let the person stay after she left.(not accepted on buyers side) She said he was suppose to take his car and drive next door if he wanted to ask our neighbor questions. He didn't So I came home to see my neighbor talking to this person and no real estate agent. My doors are not locked and this person is there who put an offer on our house.

oops. I wanted to erase the post but it went through by mistake We received an offer on our house, the final offer was three thousand less than I wanted to accept. The house is priced very low. I countered and now we are waiting for the buyer to reply. They said they could not afford to come up three thousand so I called the agent back and said we will accept the offer.Now they are not getting back to us until tomorrow. I am beside myself

Our dog was sprayed by a skunk last night. I pour white vinegar on then her rinsed her. She still smelled. Then I put peroxide mixed with baking soda. She still smelled. Then I wiped her with apple cider vinegar. She now smells like vinegar and musky skunk! We shampooed her last night before bed and she still smells. The worst part of this mess is that we have our house on the market and we are praying that our house will sells before my husband get transfered to Texas. If it sells he can withdraw his name and we stay here if not we go.

We are from upstate NY and my husband might be getting transfered to Fort Worth. We home school our daughter, but my 16 yr old son attends a Christian School so he can play sports. Our heart is breaking to pull him out of this wonderful school. Are there good Christian schools there that are not too expensive, that have good sport teams? How is the homeschooling community.
