  1. I've never done all-nighters for exams but have done for projects or work or kids. Mostly for university it was because there was just so much going on at various times with having jobs as well as multiple courses and if you needed to use certain equipment to do parts of projects you were waiting your turn which could make it hard to spread workload in a less stressful manner. I've done a few all-nighters or close to that for my pre-kids job because it had very fixed deadlines and whilst we did usually get a break overnight they could be a lot shorter than they were supposed to be. By the time you got home caught up on personal part of work, ate and travelled back to work, there'd be no actual sleep. Luckily it was very rare.  I don't function well with no sleep, I quickly lose the ability to function properly.

  2. I have two computers running Windows 10. One is my 6 yr old laptop and one is a brand new desktop that I built recently. I personally really like Windows 10. We had some issues a couple of times on the laptop that required it to be reinstalled but that was months ago and the issue hasn't reoccured. At this stage I'd say go ahead and upgrade but just make sure you back up your files which really people should do anyway.

  3. Maybe some education about bees might help. As far as I'm aware bees don't do that thing where they bug you for food like wasps do (well they don't where I live). Bees just do their own thing and you only get stung if you actually do them some harm somehow.  So just being able to tell them apart by sight could help, knowing what to just ignore and what to move away from could help.

  4. One issue that probably only realised was there in the last few years was my mum's habit of really avoiding buying things she needed or we needed.  I don't think it was motivated entirely by money as much as her own upbringing which was in an environment where her needs were only barely met and she just carries this extreme idea that she should not want things. She is shaking it off a little now she's in her 70s but I found myself recently realising that I felt really awful if I had stuff other than the basics or spent money for fun things and I realised it was just carrying on her ideas.

  5. We actually have a Click Clack sofa bed for a twin size/one person.  I really like it!  It hadn't occurred to me that they make ones big enough for two people though, either full or queen size.  But maybe??

We had a double bed version (not sure of what your equivalent bed sizes are in the US). The mattress was two proper singles attached together. Folded up it was a 3 seater sofa.

  6. I always hated sport so school PE was something I just endured and I have no desire to do sport as an adult. I did a lot of walking, gardening and playing outside as a kid and that's continued but it has varied with where I've lived, I was also a majorette. I did dance at school for a couple of years, I was bad at it but it was a lot more fun than anything else they offered but it's not something I'd continue as an adult for fear of looking like an idiot.

I think simple solitary things like walking/hiking are easier to continue through life but sports rely on too much else like having the facilities and money to do it and often being good enough at it so someone wants to play with you.

  7. I had a Jo totes Betsy for a while. The bag is nice but I personally don't like them as camera bags. They're not particularly comfortable loaded and I think I'd be inclined to just get a bag you like that's big enough and comfortable to carry and buy or make some inserts for whatever you want in it.

  8. Yeah, I've had it but can't now remember the specifics of the first time though I think I'd been doing some heavy lifting or heavy garden work or something. I think it just went with time and being gentle with myself. It sometimes reappears though and then goes quickly and I'm never too sure why. Not frequently though. My brother gets it occasionally too. We are both hypermobile though and I've wondered if that has something to do with it.

  9. I like Benefit's "They're real" too and I find it nice and separating on my short stumpy lashes. I have very sensitive eyes.  I don't get on with the matching eyeliner at all though but the mascara is good. I seem to react to the eyeliner.

  10. The train from York to Leeds Bradford airport is 1 to 2 hrs depending on time of day.

The negative thing about the London tour buses is that they are incredibly slow moving and you'll spend a lot of time going no where plus you'll need to wait for them at stops which will lose you time. If you can walk from place to place whilst in London then definitely do it.

  11. My son has reflex anoxic seizures which is the extreme versions of syncope and sounds like your other daughter. We're in a biggish support group and I've never heard it described like the ones your 22 yr old has but I do know of some people who have anoxic epilepsy triggered by syncope. That could be what's going on and why nothing is showing up to her doctors the rest of the time. Have you tried videoing the episodes?

  12. For London accomodation my friend is a travel writer and was recently recommending the zhotels in London or alternatively I stayed in the premier inn just a couple of minutes walk from Tower Bridge and it was a very good location. I'd also recommend rather than trying to get around on the buses why not try a self guided walk. It's way quicker to walk around central london and you get to see a lot more. I use these walking tour maps and they're mostly 1-3 hrs long depending on how fast you walk and they link together a lot of tourist destinations. When I lived and worked in London I used to walk a lot because most of central London is much easier and quicker to walk than use public transport.

  13. I agree that London-york-Durham and back to London is going to be a hard day mostly spent in the car and you'll get many hours on our bland motorways but not a lot else. Also, you've planned a lot for your day in London. We were up in London just the other week and British museum plus one other thing and maybe sitting on the sightseeing bus is more than enough for one day unless you literally plan to visit the front door of the places. The British Museum is huge and it takes a while to travel from place to place. The sightseeing bus tours will help you but they are extremely slow moving. I think you are trying to do too many places per day and will run yourself ragged without really getting to soak in the sights you are visiting.

  14. I have dry skin though it's generally improving. Recently a cream I like is the Bare minerals purely nourishing for dry skin. Its got lots of jojoba oil in it. I use it as night cream as it does take a good while to sink in. I've yet to find a lighter cream I love other than the general body lotion I use.

I do peels too. Glycolic and salycilic. They make a massive difference and my sensitive skin seems to get on better with them than other products that may have a million other ingredients to react to and not make as much actual difference. I find I don't peel that drastically it's quite subtle.
