sweet! Thanks so much - I was just looking at these a month or so ago, just bought all three seasons.

Oh sweetie. I deal with anxiety too, its no fun. Years ago, it got so bad that I was having full-blown anxiety attacks - even went to the ER for the first one because I was sure it was a heart attack. I'm not one to seek out help for myself and I don't like the idea of medication - mindfulness changed my life, seriously - I still get anxious and probably could still benefit from treatment, but its controllable now, and I have my life back. Check out this book - Mindful Way Through Anxiety - or this one - The Mindful Way through Depression - I think this book is a bit better, but its not anxiety specific, still worth a read though

my daughters want the Epic Mickey 2, and we played the Raving Rabbids game in the store, and it was fun...we are all big Raymond Raving Rabbids fans but I was going to link to it, and I can't find it on amazon - confusing! Anyway, all that said, not sure if we will get the Wii U or not - still thinking about it. I'm sure we will eventually, just not sure if we will for Christmas or not.
ETA - I found it! Here's the link: Rabbids Land - I was searching for Raving Rabbids and Raymond - should have just searched for Rabbids :-)
ETA2 - maybe it was this that we played in the stores? Rayman Legends - apparently I was spelling "Rayman" wrong in my searches. Oh, but I see this isn't due for release until March, so it must have been the first one we played... I should just go back to bed......

You could look at day-time/dayrunner - they have a few formats - I know they have a one page per day, with the hours down the middle - you can use one side for daily/hourly scheduling and the other side for assignments - also they have a two page per day format that would give you more room.

Loving the hover! I've missed it! Thanks!

I wouldn't take my 13yo to Starbucks. I'm clearly evil.

Our insurance went up $3 per pay period. Not exactly gloom and doom. That's typically the amount it increases.
That's about what ours went up by as well, but I did notice some small negative changes in coverage/deductibles - nothing too major though.

If my adult daughter and her family are going to be here in the morning when we open our stockings, I do one for them, but if they are doing Christmas morning at their own house, I don't.

Yeah, but fear can kill hope. I'd like to hope that hope would be larger, but in reality, I'd say that its an individual thing - but fear can absolutely kill hope - just like hope can get you through fear.
Tough one!

His wife is 50. The baby is healthy.
Could you imagine having a toddler at 96?
I can't even imagine having a toddler at 50 like his wife :lol::lol::lol:
Just kidding. Sorta. I am rather tired though :tongue_smilie:

Cutest. Thread. Ever.
:D
:iagree::iagree:
Love it! And I learned something too - about the amount of soap, so thanks!

My daughter's wacom was being unresponsive a while ago - like you describe, it looked like it was connected, but just wasn't responding to the pen, and after talking with customer support, we just tried a new USB cord, and lo and behold, it was as good as new. So maybe just try that and see if it helps?
She loves her tablet, and was lost without it when we thought it wasn't working.

I have something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Camera-Connection-Adapter-MicroSD-USB/dp/B004J22FM6/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1349576734&sr=8-8&keywords=ipad+to+tv (not this exactly though) and it works fine - I've used it with HDMI and with regular audio-visual connections in hotel rooms and at home so that the kids could watch Netflix, youtube, or things already on the ipad - I haven't upgraded the OS yet though, so can't speak to that.

I have a plugin, so I can see when I'm unfriended right away, but otherwise they won't know unless they notice their friend count has gone down or if they go to your page. You can hide your stuff from them..and block their stuff from you - I do that for certain folks - like my SIL for example (there are others) - I don't want to unfriend her but I don't want to see her stuff (mostly a bunch of "many of my friends won't repost this" stuff) or have her seeing and commenting on my stuff. I make sure family pictures, etc., are visible to her, for the most part..and she doesn't know I have her mostly hidden. She just thinks I don't post much. :D

Our house just closed. We're officially homeless. But thank goodness its over! Now I need to find a home-buying thread to participate in I guess.
How's everyone else doing?

you might try 6pm.com too

We survived the inspection - several small issues, some known, some surprises, nothing major or deal breaking, but the buyers did ask for a credit, making our loss even greater, but no matter, I can't wait to just be DONE - we close next week, and since its a cash offer, I don't see any reason why that should be delayed. I can't wait to be completely done. DH is going back there tomorrow to supervise the movers and do any last minute things...
Buying a new home is next on the agenda
:grouphug: to all still in the trenches!

My youngest is Lydia Anne - but one of my middle daughter's name is Meredith Rose :001_smile: and I think Rose would work with Lydia nicely! I like both of them - honestly, we picked Lydia's middle name because she told us what it was - we didn't have a name at all for her, and soon after she was born, I was gazing at her and I asked, "What is your name little one?" and right then she made a sound that sounded just like "Anne" - so we had to incorporate it  but I think its lovely and works well with Lydia.

I will certainly look forward to seeing more whenever its ready!

I'm sorry Blessedx3 - have you thought about a short-sale if renting doesn't make sense? Although I've heard (don't take my word for it) that short sales are harder now, because you have to already be late on payments or in default, so your credit would suffer....that would be a bitter pill to swallow, so perhaps renting really does make more sense. Either way, that really stinks, and you have my thoughts.
Well we are finally under contract too - nearly 4 months and 90 showings and 3 price drops later - we're taking a huge loss, but at least we can put it behind us. The buyers have been particular though, so I'm nervous about Monday's inspection - but if we survive that, we should be good, as ours is also a cash offer. We are actually moving out of this house next Friday, as our relocation company will handle the closing and all of that, so we don't need to be here...we close on the 21st (if all goes well) and the moving company will be out here to get our stuff on the 17th and 18th - we're headed straight to temporary housing, and I plan to take a deep long breath before we start our house hunting out there. This whole relocation has been an incredibly long and stressful process so far.

Yay! Fingers crossed that this one sticks for you Kokotg!

I just logged into my audible account (even though I'm not an active member, it has maintained my account and my library for years - love that!) and looks like you can burn via itunes now! ETA - go to the help center in your account, and CD burning is the fourth option - there are several topics under CD burning. Itunes, nero, etc. So I'd say YES, you can absolutely still do this!
-
Oh yeah! Now I remember, it was Nero, and when I did it, you could get the trial nero and it would let you burn forever, you just couldn't do all the fancier things with nero - since I got it only for the audible stuff, I never had to pay for it and it always worked for burning (but it did ask me every single time if I wanted to purchase the full version) - of course that was a while ago, so it could be different now, but maybe its not? :001_smile:
-
I haven't been an audible member in a while, but when I was, yes that was possible. I did it frequently, as that's how we mostly listened - and in the kids' cd players in their rooms. I think I had to do it from within the audible software and with a downloaded burning program or something like that - I couldn't burn the cds from Media Player or anything like that - I bet its addressed in the audible FAQs or something

This is exactly how we do it - it's also just so much fun seeing the kids trying to guess the presents during the days leading up to Christmas morning and planning what they want to open first, etc. And come Christmas morning when they come down to the tree all lit up, their stockings full and Santa gifts waiting - so magical for all of us.
