We started with BCBS and then tried out a couple of different ones. We had GEHA at one point, but it was a disaster. They just wanted to argue about covering everything. At the time DS was still alive so we used it a lot with his medical issues. We ended up switching (back) to BCBS and have had them ever since. We used to have the High Option, but now it's just standard.:tongue_smilie: We're keeping it until we're done having babies, which is this one, and then we'll look in October to see if we want to switch. They do cover maternity 100% so that's nice.
ETA: okay, so not in DC area so I don't know how the docs accept insurance up there.

DS2 did at about one year old. Up to that point, he was a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE sleeper, woke up all night long, in his crib. One night out of sheer exhaustion, I put him in bed with me and he slept the whole night...tried it again next nigh, same thing...dawned me that he needs me, mommy warmth, to sleep comfortably (he was also a surviving twin and it made sense that he was needing somebody to be with him, duh to me for not getting that sooner!).
This was us with our last two. I tried to have DS4 in a crib, but around 6 weeks he developed colic and would scream all night long. Unless he was in bed with us. To this day, we call him our little leach because he still wants to cuddle so close and wrap around you. With our last DS we just put him in bed with us from the start. He would occasionally sleep in the crib, but he had colic too that was "cured" by cosleeping. With the next one, we'll cosleep as well. We just have to get DS4 to stay out of our bed and get DS2 out to begin with. Lol.
Oh, and mine were all breast fed.

I love your bathroom. It looks great.
The diapers are ladida diapers.
I've been able to knit a lot because we don't have a backyard fence so if the boys want to be outside I have to sit there with them.
Thanks for all the kind words on the shawl. It's the Ashton pattern on ravelry. It's a super easy beginners pattern.

Dd was my first csection and they let dh take a picture of her as she was being removed. You can clearly see my intestines. Dd once came up to me after looking at her baby scrapbook and told me she loved my beautiful guts. So that's one thing we say now to each other.

I can't believe you're doing that by hand. I tried once and did a block before giving up. I think it'll look cool when it's done. I'm sure your sil will love it.

My shawl I did this month.
And the 26 diapers I've had sitting around for 2 years that I finally finished.

I called to ask AGAIN about the $$ to pay for her order...
She sheepishly admitted she doesn't have it. She has not finished delivering the product -- therefore she hasn't collected the $$.
She says her bonus is being direct-deposited tomorrow and she will pay the full amount tomorrow. In the meantime, she asked me to start a shopping cart, but NOT finalize the order until tomorrow when she has paid. :glare:
My husband is NOT going to be happy...
I'm trying to be fair & patient...I know she is a single mother; I know the tranny just went out on her car, etc. etc. *BUT* this is just not how I want to do business. Urg...
Why do you care more about her than your husband? Why should your family get hurt when it was her dishonesty that caused this mess? Stop being nice. She's not nice to you. I don't mean to sound like I'm jumping all over you, but she shouldn't be getting away with this. You're letting her steal from you and by not contacting the main office she's going to keep doing it. Honestly, if she's this dishonest, I doubt she'll ever pay you. She's hoping you'll pay and just end up eating the cost.

So how does one set up this automated upload of pictures anyways?
I'd love that feature
http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
You need an icloud account. Then on your iphone go to settings-->icloud-->photo stream and flip the button to on. And then you'll need to set it up again on your computer. The link will show you how. I love being able to dl pics automatically to my computer.

Friends of ours did this last summer. They camped from Texas to Oregon. I think they had a hotel stay in there once just to have a good a/c & shower. The wife really wanted to do it so they could save money and when they came back she said it wasn't worth it. It just wasn't comfortable enough for the number of nights they had to do it and the set up and take down was draining. If you're going to do it, and it sounds like you are, you might want to figure in a hotel every once in a while.

I'm so sorry Nance. I know you were really excited about this pregnancy. Miscarrying is horrible. :grouphug:

Schlitterbahn. Travel channel says its the best water park in the country. They now have three, New Braunfels, S. Padre, and Galveston. With talk of putting one in Corpus. We went once years ago and had a blast. But six flags has a free water park that's pretty good.

There's a small train that wanders around the park near the zoo. I enjoyed it as a kid. There's a small children's museum that your youngest ones would probably like.

Adding my thanks. I'm hoping to use this next year to work on dd writing. This will help a lot.

I use Arm & Hammer without Aluminum. They have one without and one with. I've used the crystal and it worked okay for a while. This all said, I'm not the stinky one in my family. My DH & DD sweat a lot. So they won't even touch the stuff. I think the spray stuff doesn't have aluminum if that's your issue with most deodorants.

If you have smartphones get one of the apps. There's apps for maps and wait times. They helped us so much.

:iagree: with pp. we never wanted to sit down and eat after DS died so having stuff we could graze on helped. And definitely lots of paper goods, cups, and cutlery.

Texas here, although I haves lived in other places. Diluted and deluded sound the same.

This was my first pregnancy where I felt I'll. I rarely have morning sickness and I never puked, but I was nauseous the entire time. Ginger candy helped soooo much. I ordered it from amazon. It was amazing how well it worked.

Hi, I'm Rachel. I'm 36 which makes me advanced maternal age. :tongue_smilie: I'm 28 weeks along so in the final countdown stage. We're having a boy. Another one. We have dd, 14, DSs, 4 & 2, and another DS who died 6 years ago. Dd was desperately hoping for a girl, but has resigned herself to being way out numbered.

:iagree: I've heard the freezer thing works well. And you may be able to hook it up to another computer. We paid $100 this year to do this to DH's old computer. I knew it wasn't the hard drive, but I couldn't hook it up myself because the hard drive was too old. It was DH's bday present. He wanted those pics off.
I used to use mozy, but now use Crashplan and smugmug. I've heard Good things about carbonite. I use smugmug just for pics and crashplan for school and scrap booking stuff. It's money we'll spent. When DS took my external and decided to see if it would bounce off the tile floor, I spent $100 replacing the hard drive, and a few days downloading, but I didn't loose the years worth of stuff I have.

Well. I'm a lot farther along, but it still seems like forever and a day away. I, due August 3, but will have a csection earlier. Hopefully, I'll know the date soon.

I joined, but I always forget about the social groups.

So, if I delete them from my computer files, they will still show up on Blogger? Hmm... I think I'll test it... lol...
If you look at the pics on your blog, they are all http://...blogspot.com/... If they were linked to your computer it would say c:\mypics\... Do you have more than one computer? or a smart phone? Turn of your main computer and then look up your blog on another one. The pics will still be there. If when you're linking to pics and you click on an upload button, they're stored on the web, not your computer.
I think Picasa duplicates the pics that you edit. It keeps the original and the edited pic. I use Windows 7 and I like the internal photo viewer so I don't use Picasa anymore. Sorry.

In defense of us sniffers, I didn't realize just how annoying it was until I was an adult. Apparently, I'm kind of oblivious. Just say, go blow your nose. Constantly. They'll get the hint. It does drive me crazy to hear it now though.
And sorry, tmi: there are times my nose will just leak constantly. I really can't blow it and stop the leaking.
Disney people. Am I crazy for considering going the first week of July?

That's when we went to WDW. We were lucky :tongue_smilie: in that there was a hurricane hitting back home so it kept it nice and overcast in Florida. But it was hot and miserable and we're used to that type of weather. Only way to do it: Get up early and hit rope drop. Leave around 1-2 and come back around 6. Bring ponchos. (We were walking into MK in the rain in our ponchos while everyone else was running out. It was great for lines.) Hit the shows. Use fastpasses and have at least a generalized touring plan. And be prepared to change things up because the heat is getting to someone. There was one time we got something to eat in Epcot, not because we were really hungry, but because we wanted to get out of the heat.
