  1. As my mind works, lol, horizontal is more logical for a timeline but the back of a door is a great space saver (we used the back of door for our 4' human body poster last year). For our timeline we are using a 3-ring notebook. The pages are done so the DD can remove them and lay them out horizontally on a table or the floor to view a longer time period...you could do short horizontal strips on the back of the door and reposition them higher as you complete a strip to make more room and it would be convenient for her to add figures, just a thought...

    Thank you all for the info! Chandlermom, I appreciate your detailed info. I had no clue what to really look for in a microscope and DD9soon-2-b-10 :) is very interested in all things science. She would enjoy adding this to her studies.

  3. Momofonefunone, The way you use your planner sounds like what would work for us. I'm also the "mom of one fun one" :) and my DD will be in 5th gr next year so I'd really like to get her working with a planner and she already likes to journal. I'm sending you a pm...
