  1. I have a quick grammar question - my daughter is taking an IEW class and she is learning the "-ly" dress up. In one of her paragraphs, she used the sentence "There was a mysteriously built maze." and her teacher marked "myseriously" as not an actual adverb. Is this true? It's modifying the verb "built", even though altogether "myseriously built" is an adjective describing the word "maze." If it's an adjective, should it be hyphenated? This week she's trying to say "Daedalus made a pair of large, beautifully designed wings..." and I'm afraid we're going to have the same problem. Any grammar loving parents want to chime in here? Thanks!
  2. It's been a few years since this thread was posted... anybody else have any ideas? My kids are 9 & 7 and we're also looking for a native american kids movie that isn't completely whitewashed...
