I took the class for SWR and the instructor said we were using it right. Oral phono review, written phono review, presenting the words, doing extra practice through the week. Then at the end of the week she would get most of the words right. But then a few weeks later in her writing she would get words wrong that she had learned a few weeks before. Then when I would remind her she had already learned a word she would not remember it. So I don't know something was just not clicking with her. I even stuck with it for 4 years but each new year when we did a placement test she would consistently test out lower than where we stopped the year before. I just tested her recently after taking this year off from it, she ended up being at list L the same as she had been the year before when we started. I was thinking of starting it again and she just doesn't want to and I don't want to put one more year into it to see no progress again. :confused:
