Jann, I know you probably get tired of saying the same things over and over with math questions....but I really, truly appreciate all your help.

I had asked you before about finishing TT Trig or doing LOF Trig, and I think we had pretty much decided that since LOF covers more and more in-depth to go that route.

My question is: would there be any benefit to doing both TT Trig AND LOF Trig? Since dd is already 1/2 way through TT Trig....would there be a benefit to...say....do a chapter of LOF and then a chapter of TT and back and forth....kind of looking at the same subject in a different way and getting more practice......OR would it be better to just say enough with the TT already and just switch to the LOF?

We have the time to combine them, but I don't want to waste dd's time either. If there is no benefit, then we can finish up the LOF Trig and move on to another elective she has been wanting to study, kwim?

So......what do you think? Combine? Or just Fred? TIA from the bottom of my heart!

I dont' think TT's Trig (Pre-Calc) goes that deep and LOF will cover more ground... I'm not sure that you could do a chapter-to-chapter thing because the texts are not aligned... you would have to choose ONE main text to follow then look at the other text to decide on supplemenal problems.

Another idea is to finish TT and then go back and restart LOF... this way you progress through the concepts and then go back and 'review' AND pick up additional concepts and depth... If you have time I'd choose this one.
