I'm based in Dublin, Ireland, with my husband and 2 sons, 11 and 8 years old. We're planning to start doing "homeschool" soon, during the 2 months of summer holidays, for 1-2 days a week total. We haven't done this before, they've been in school since they were 5. They're enthusiastic about the upcoming homeschool (at least, the things they enjoy - maths, science, history, art...). I'm between enthusiastic (I love teaching them stuff) and a bit daunted (by the challenge of preparing suitable things for them to do, and incorporating the things they are less enthused about but need to work on). I've met people doing full homeschooling but just found this afterschooling forum which is probably similar to our situation. So that's us...
