VermontMom
Anyone know of writing competitions, contests, publishing or "publishing", writing programs or scholarship? I know of PBS for contests and Stanford for advanced writer's courses but no others. Can anyone add to this? Dmmetler
On a totally different angle, consider fan fiction. My DD's first "published" writing was several pieces on the Neopets website, which has several outlets for fans to enter writing in different styles. It's competitive, with no allowance for age, and getting multiple rejections led to her improving her writing.
