Portable DVD player with variable playback speed --- anyone know of one?

Our laptop is such a PAIN with dvds, and we use dvds for school alot. I would like to invest in a fairly cheap dvd player - but it HAS to have variable speed playback. We love BJU dvds, but we love them at 1.2-1.5 speed. LOL!! A car charger would be a plus. It's for teens so it can be less fragile than for little ones. Thanks so much!

We've tried on the xbox... our normal tv dvd method, but we can't speed it up. This might be tagged as "first world fast talking Yankee problems"! LOL!!

Ummm the next time I'm in the car I will check the girls DVD players for the speed thing. We paid $100 for a dual screen DVD player that actually lets you watch a different movie on each screen. It's made by RCA. We got the dual screen because dd1 is forward facing in a booster and dd2 is rear facing
