My son is a STEM kid but really likes engineering type things and computer science rather than traditional science classes...but I guess we have to satisfy the transcript requirements so I hope you all can point me in the right direction. I considered using SuperCharged Science because he would enjoy working with his hands but I don't think that the curriculum would go deep enough for STEM prep. Actually, we had a bad experience, but the teacher is no longer there. I find LA one of the most expensive online providers, and I don't necessarily think they are worth it. Certainly weren't for our experience, though we were offered a free semester class (which we didn't use). OTOH, they have a wide range of science classes to choose from, and I have seen positive reviews on the boards.
