Question about my mom's problem w/her Nook

She's had the Nook for a couple of years and hasn't had this problem until the past few weeks.  She'll open an e-mail and start to read it, then it will disappear!  She's even had multiple unread e-mails disappear when she starts to read the first one.

 

She has talked to multiple people at Barnes and Noble (they've been helpful w/minor issues in the past) and w/her service provider.  Both places say the problem isn't their deal.

 

Have any of you had this type of problem?  What did you do about it?

Oh, boy.  I don't know any of those answers!  She's just trying to read e-mail like she's done ever since she got the thing. I doubt it's an app. I didn't know there were different versions of the Nook, so I don't know which one she has.  I don't know what POP or IMAP are, either, and I don't think she does.

 

I'll tell her what you've said and ask if she can call my brother for help. Maybe he can walk her through some of this.
