laughing lioness Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Dd10 has been loving the Bill Peet autiobiography (he illustrated many of the old Disney films) that we've had for so long I've had to rebuild the spine. Not a litter. :blush: Of course our librarians are in on the project, too: the author of Run, Turkey, Run! is a clerk at our library, and when the librarian pointed her out to my children, it was like a day at the zoo - my kids peering in to her office, eyes wide. "Mom! A real live ARTHUR!" (They actually still have trouble pronouncing that, and - I don't correct them. :) ) We got mixed up when we read the book Bill and Pete Go Down the Nile - my kids were SURE Tomie dePaola knew Bill Peet! :lol: ETA: We will look up his autobio.
