StephanieZ
I am planning AP Biology for next year. I'd like to do it on our own, w/o an outside teacher/course. I am thinking: +Campbell Biology +LabPaq 12 exp't AP Bio kit +Additional exp'ts from other sources +One or more AP Bio Prep books What are some other ideas I have missed? Great resources to go along with or substitute for any on my list? Tips from BTDT moms? This will be our first AP course, and I think dd will be doing one other AP course at the same time with an online teacher -- US Hist on the PA HS'ers thingy. FWIW, DH & I both have several biology degrees, so the teaching part will be easy. . . TIA!
Michelle in AL
Order a few old AP Bio tests from Collegeboard. You can use these for multiple choice test throughout the yr. Dd's teacher did weekly essay assignments. I think she just picked an essay question out of the section review, but it helped prepare her for the essay portion of the test. Have you joined the AP Biology list serv at collegeboard? you'd probably get the best ideas from there.
