Tenaj
Has anyone used Vocabulary Bridges from Trivium Pursuit? I'm considering what to do for my highschoolers vocab programs for next year and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this program. I've only been able to find one sample page on line. Any input will be much appreciated. My kids seem to have a very good vocabulary and read all the time. My daughter (ninth grade) in particular wants a challenge in this area - she is fascinated with the etymology of words. Any suggestions? Also am considering Vocabulary Cartoons, Vocab. for the High School Student, or Wordly Wise (probably my least favored choice). I own Jensen's also but my son tried it in seventh grade and found it tedious (to say the least) but maybe I should pull it back out? Thanks! Janet, Given your daughter's interest in etymology, you may wish to investigate the Linguistics Olympiad. My daughter was interested in participating, but other obligations took precedence.
