swellmomma
DD has always been prone to rashes. Typically she has one on her face near her mouth that gets worse when nursing in warm weather and around the waist band of her diaper. Both of which I have attributed to heat rash (and the dr concurs), she has had those two almost non-stop since birth. Now we have a new rash. We started potty training a couple days ago so I have been letting her run around in the buff. Her poor little bum cheeks are fiery red with raised bumps. It has gotten brighter and a bigger area covered as teh day has worn on, and now it is starting to hurt her. It is red enough that it looks like she was slapped repeatedly (which she was not), or sunburned kwim. ANy ideas? It is not even in the same location as any sort of diaper rash, it is on the fleshy part of her bottom but stops before any skin creases etc.
Pink Fairy
My 2yods has super sensitive skin, and I use hydrocortisone on those mystery rashes that show up from time to time. You could try it and see if the rash responds. If it's related to yeast, I have a lot of success using that cream that's meant for athlete's foot.
