dhudson
My son is starting the first book of NEM - Syllabus D. I got the package from Sonlight and have the textbook, teacher's manual, solutions manual and workbook. I can't find anything written that tells me when to use the workbook pages which seem to not be an everyday occurrence. Any insights from previous users? I have used them in the past for topics that I wanted more practice problems on (but that was a tutoring kid - not DS...), but mostly I only use them for the tests. Those are excellent! Musicmom
We ended up never using the workbook. It seemed like the problems in the text provided plenty of repetition, and we didn't even do all of those. We also didn't do the revisions in the text--but then again, we used NEM as a supplement, not our main program. I would say the workbook is a handy tool for times when you feel like you need more practice--or maybe for review. HTH!
