Tami in CA
Anyone use Megawords after or at the same time as AAS? I am thinking of using both of these with my 14ds who is a poor speller. What do you think?

AngieW in Texas
If you join the yahoogroups email loop called HeartofReading, you'll find lots of people who use Megawords or AAS. Some use both. I recommend posting your question to that email loop.
rockala
at the same time with no problem for ds in 6th. That was our focus this year though as he knew we needed to catch up. We typically pick 2-3 areas a year we know are behind (IOWA tests/persoanl expeereince) and those have to be done first each day so they are fresh. I think though that Megawords and AAS are more similar. Kathy
Tami in CA
I also think AAS and Megawords are similar. I had probably better wait until we get through AAS to use Megawords. Maybe at least get through another Level (we are currently just starting Level 2). If anyone has experience with this I would love to hear about it. Thanks ~

Tami in CA
Thanks for the responses. I think I will get through Level 3 before I begin using Megawords.
