I posted on a couple threads, but don't know if I'll be able to find them again to see if anyone posted in response to me. Make sense? I set my preferences so that I automatically subscribe to every thread I post to. Then when I first come to the board, I go to "quick links" in the blue menu bar, down to "subscribed threads", click on that, and I can see if there are any new posts to any threads I've been involved with. I sometimes subscribe to a thread without posting, just to listen in. (You do that thru "thread tools".) Oh, and I subscribe without email notification unless it's something really important to me. You can change your subscription status later. I periodically go back and delete all subscriptions that haven't hadn't activity for a while.
