I've never felt the need to pay the $ their premium service. http://hammersnipe.auctionstealer.com/home.cfm I've used Hammersnipe for several years. I have only had ONE instance where I feel it didn't work. I was SURE I had set things up, but HS just didn't bid. I don't know what happened then. Remember that snipers will not bid for you if the bidding has already gone over your max bid, but that will still use up your weekly snipes. Sniping programs bid at the last second for you, so if you have a computer glitch or are not at home, etc., you can still bid. It's a great way to win auctions without getting into bidding contests.
