Quiver0f10
We have been using them for level 1, but my kids aren't loving them and I am wondering if we will lose something by just going at it ourselves. Thanks.
Karenciavo
My boys did not like them, I apologize to Dr. Perrin if he reads this, but they thought he was goofy and would joke about the missing daughter from Primer A. We did fine without them. Make up your own chants. P.S.: I wish they sold the audio separately, it's nice to have that.
Melissa in CA
We use the DVDs. Yes, they are a bit goofy at times, but not a bad goofy...besides it's only one DVD per lesson/chapter which equates to about once a week depending on how quickly one progresses. My son can handle one goofy DVD per week. So far he has not complained about the teacher at all. He DOES roll his eyes at the children doing the chants though. ;) I think he secretly likes them, but won't admit it. As already mentioned, the audio CD is great to have onhand.
