Miss L
Hi! I'm new here and doing some after/before schooling with my seven year old first grader, mostly in math and reading. He goes to a dual immersion (Spanish/English) public school, so he's not totally new to language learning. We're looking for a summer project and I thought it would be nice to try to teach him some Russian. I speak enough to get by socially and watch some TV but my idiomatic language is trash. I can read but not write. He speaks none at all, and has pushed back when I tried to teach him before. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some curriculum for a novice learner that would give us some guidance on where to start? The subjects I've worked with him on before, I've been solid on but I'm not sure how to even begin here. Thanks!!
