RachaelH Posted October 14, 2018 Share Posted October 14, 2018 Hi everyone, A Mom of one of my tutoring students is looking for an online, self-paced reading program for her very bright 6 year old son. This child was in school last year, and in his school they do not teach any English reading until 1st grade. Although he has had no formal reading instruction, he has picked up quite a lot of skills on his own and just needs a structured program to give him more of what he needs. He doesn't need anything geared toward children with reading challenges, thank G-d, just something independent that he can work at, learn, and succeed in. Any suggestions? My first thought was Reading Horizons at Home, but then I thought it may be too laborious for him as he doesn't have challenges? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
