battlemaiden
I would like to have a chart that goes sat-fri. I can make my own with excel, but wondering if others have done this and find it useful. Jo
Ohdanigirl
I have done this for my children and it has been very helpful. My oldest son gets up very early sometimes, having the chart allows him to look ahead, or even start on the subjects he can do on his own. There have been many times that I come downstairs after dressing my youngest son, and my oldest is already learning his new Latin vocab. Imagine a 9 year old teaching himself Latin. SabrinainPA
If what you are asking is, did we find scheduling Saturday to Friday helpful, my answer is yes. In my case, I gave my children their schedule on Friday morning. They had the weekend, in addition to Friday, to do the readings. At the Dialectic/Rhetoric level, this is especially helpful. It also helped me to do my planning on a weekday, instead of using up all my weekend time.
Quiver0f10
We start our TOG week on Friday and end on Wed. I did make a sheet that included the weekend days and do find it very helpful to keep the kids on track.
