bluedarling Posted August 18, 2016 Share Posted August 18, 2016 I was originally going to have dd10 do both Writers In Residence and LL7, but it was taking her WAY too long. I dropped the LL7 and we'll try it again next year (she could do it...it was all just too much.) So...what do I add to WiR to make it a complete LA? PS says she reads at grade 12 level, and she writes well but age level (a bit too informal according to PS teacher.) She is a natural speller, so I wasn't planning to add spelling, but could. I just told her to read independently for the rest of LA for now, but should I be addressing reading more intentionally? She is doing Notgrass USaY, so will get some literature there.
