jkbvmartinez
I am wondering if anyone uses the Heart of Dakota notebooking pages alone (I am looking particularly at the Resurrection to Reformation pages.) The pages look very nice but I don't care for the rest of the curriculum. Does anyone know if you could work the pages in with any history program?
michaeljenn
Hmmm... I suppose you could. It is honestly made to specifically go with HOD. The manual tells you exactly what to put in each box.
Serenade
I think it would be hard to work them in with another program. We've used HOD this year and will probably not use it next year, so I was thinking about this myself. ETA: I will add that I found the pages not to be quite as wonderful as they seem -- the paper is slick, so pencil doesn't work so well. I've had my boys use erasable pens instead, but those smear easily. I know some people have their kids type up their responses and then glue them onto the page. That would work for the longer writing assignments but wouldn't work as well for the short answer portions.
