athomeontheprairie
My skin doesn't like to heal. Three out of four weeks, if I get a cut, scab, pimple, etc it stays until the fourth week. Then during that magical week my skin heals itself. I feel good. If I get a cut/wound during that week it only takes a day or so to heal. But for those other 3 weeks-it hurts, gets worse, itches and stays put. I assume this is hormonal, as it matches my cycle to a tee. How do I balance out these hormones? How do I convince my skin to heal itself all month long? While a trip to the doctor could be a possibility, but I'd prefer to exhaust dietary and non-prescription supplements first. TIA! almondbutterandjelly
Have you ever tried Neosporin (aka Triple Antibiotic) on your cuts and pimples? Works like a charm at our house.

And even then, if it's in the the week stretch, it won't heal. It might help (not so red). But the wound stays put.
