trishalinn
Help! I'd love some recommendations on math curriculum. I have an 11 year old son who is about 3/4 of the way through Saxon Algebra 1/2. He's done well with it, though he hates it. The lessons take him a long time because he dawdles and daydreams and get distracted by his younger brothers. I'm familiar with Saxon because I used it and it prepared me to waltz into my College level calc classes and ace them with no problems. Because I had such a good experience I had really wanted to use this with my kids. But math has become sheer misery and I don't like it. So...what do you like for this age/math level? And why?
