hat-cat
hello, My daughter switched to on line school last year so she could pursue acting(she also did not really like public school). The program she used was not a good one for her and we are looking for a new on line school this year to finish out her senior year. I was hoping someone could tell me about any experiences they might have had with this school. Thanks!!
Dina in Oklahoma
I have no experience with online schools, but understand many with children pursuing goals such as your DD's use Oak Meadow. http://oakmeadow.com/what-we-do/high-school/
AHASRADA
The distance schools I have experience with and can recommend are: Oak Meadow Keystone High School American School Oak Meadow uses printed texts only, but work can be submitted online. American offers both printed and online courses and they can be mixed and matched. Keystone's main program is exclusively online, although they do offer printed courses but those have to be sent through the mail. I haven't used them, but I know a lot of actors use Laurel Springs. It's quite pricey, though.
