Guest Benny
Hello. I'm Suzi. Mom to ds(9) dsd(9) and ds(8). My youngest is classically autistic. The boys need formal help at home to stay caught up and dsd loves to learn. Glad to have found a forum with many afterschoolers
Guest Sirena
Hi Suzi, I try to after school too. I only have one in school during the week dd(7). She probably is mildly autistic but it may be because she used to suffer from recurrent ear infections. It may have limited her capacity to socialise and a lot of other contributing factors. I try to make sure she does more work at home so she can keep up. (Sorry if that's weird to mention, I'm not sure really) I have a ds (2.5) and dss(15). Makes for a busy house most of the time. I was just wondering: what is your routine when they get home for learning? My daughter is getting more hyperactive after school and our homework from 4-5 is no longer appropriate. I thought with three and having to cope with aome learning challenges you might have some advice?
