Guest tinyjanechi
I am trying to figure out what exactly is covered on the 7th grade SS Terra Nova test (I am in TN). The public school curriculum is a mixed bag a economics, geography, and government. However, all the homeschool curriculums seem to vary widely in what they cover. We have to test at the end of the year, and I want to choose a curriculum that will give him a good foundation for that test. I have looked everywhere and can't seem to pinpoint what the Terra Nova specifically covers for 7th grade SS. When I find that out, I can match a curriculum to it. I would certainly appreciate any input from those of you who have used that test and if your curriculum prepared your student well or not. Momling
My daughter took the test and I've looked into what was on it. It's mostly common sense and maps and charts and texts that you don't need prior knowledge for. Honestly, it's not something that should drive your curriculum.
