Oak Meadow giveaway (and the jump from gr 3-4)

Every year, I follow the Oak Meadow threads, and last year, I finally jumped in with the third grade level. Everyone kept telling me it "ramps up" in the fourth grade, so I reviewed it this year, and what do you know- it does.

 

For those of you wondering- the big difference between grade 3 and 4 are these:

 

1. Written to the student instead of the teacher
2. Math is seperate
3. Lessons are no longer taught with mostly fictional stoies- the text is now non-fiction, with lots of fictional reading for language arts
4. There is much more writing in grade 4.

 

I am THRILLED with grade 4. I really liked grade 3 (and 1) which we did last year, but this year is SO different, in the best way.
