IEW Geography Based Writing - "middle of sentence"?

I have TWSS and have watched it a couple of times, but we're just starting with the Geography Based Writing Lessons.  On the Composition Checklist it says:  DRESS-UP (middle of sentence; underlined).  What does "middle of sentence" refer to?  Maybe I need to watch it for a third time?  :(

It's emphasizing that the dress-ups must come in the middle-not the beginning-of the sentence. "Sentence openers" appear at the beginning. Ex: He (-ly) quickly ran to the well. If "quickly" came at the beginning, it would be a #3 opener: (#3) Quickly, he ran to the well.

Does that make sense?
