I want her to be available for the entire school year, start to finish with no missing dates (short of emergency). She said that she will be adopting internationally but they don't expect to leave until mid-June. I have never known an international adoption to run by the predicted dates. I have several friends who have adopted internationally and numerous acquaintances. Not a single one happened on time (or within a few weeks of being on time). Would you all mind sharing experiences and thoughts on the timeliness? She will need to be off for a few months after the adoption and I really must have someone who will work the full school year.
