creekster519
We still have a couple years, but I think I will need to outsource science at some point. Science is not my favorite subject and I feel like someone else will teach it better than me at the middle and high school level. The problem... there seems to be nowhere that offers secular science classes. The classes in our area use BJU, Apologia and Abeka. We believe in an old Earth so I think using those curricula would be confusing for my kids. Anyone else had this issue and how did you solve it? Karmiel
Supercharged Science comes to mind. Her website is awful, but people seem to love it. http://www.superchargedscience.com Also, there is a secular homeschool site that lists science curricula: http://www.secularhomeschool.com/content/515-secular-science-curriculum/

Mandy in TN
Kolbe Academy is Catholic not secular, but uses secular texts. The Catholic church doesn't hold a formal stance on the age of the earth and is very oe friendly.
Mandy in TN
Calvert, Keystone, and any classes offered through universities as high school distance learning will be secular. The AP Science courses offered online from PA Homeschoolers use secular texts. (I suppose how secularly it is used will depend on the teacher.)
