knittingmama Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 We just switched to MCT so we are on the Island level right now. We haven't started Sentence Island yet but will as soon as we are through Grammar Island. (This is all very easy and a review for her so far.) We also do daily narrations of our science and history, and weekly written narrations. She does do copywork and dictation. But is this enough writing? She is a bright child but has ADHD (combined type) and really detests the physical act of writing, so I feel like I've let her get away with not doing "enough." Do I need to add a writing program to all of this? Will MCT Town level prepare her for moving into something like WWS later on? Or do I need to be doing something like WWE in addition to what we're doing. She is really loving MCT, so I don't really want to mess with that. But I do want to make sure she is learning how to write well, something that is very important to me. Quote
