CPO science- what do I need to buy?

Recommended Posts

Well, you need a student text book. Or you can download one here:

I liked having the teacher book because it has the answers. That was a big help! It also has a schedule etc

The student record sheets are here:

http://www.cposcience.com/home/Home/tabid/119/Default.aspx

Look under the tabs for educators and you will see 'middle school earth science' etc.

As for what you need for each book, I don't have a list. I went through the student record sheets (the experiments) and made a list of what was needed for every experiment. Then I loaded up my cart at Home Science Tools and made a list for Home Depot etc. Most of the stuff I could buy, but a little had to be made. I got it all done in the summer so we were ready to go for the school year. I have done the Earth and Space book. If I had know about CPO I would have also used the Life Science book in 5th grade.

I have the middle school physical science book, but am not convinced I can manage that one at home, next year. It calls for lots of specialized equipment.
