Exercise Tracking Apps/Software/Websites?

With New Year's Resolutions coming upon us...

 

If you exercise regularly (or have in the past) how do you track your progress? Which features in an app or website did you find most useful? Which features were a waste of bandwidth? What important features were missing?

 

I have a phone app I like to use for tracking my weight lifting. I see some people using notebooks, but I'm always surprised at how many people apparantly track everything in their head. If I miss a few weeks, I can't remember how much weight I was lifting for some exercises. And if I miss a few months, it's even harder to figure out where to start, unless I have records to look at.
