I'm wondering what the quality of the supplies from Jerry's is especially the paints and paint brushes compared to what I would purchase from Hobby Lobby. Also as far as the paints go do you need the exact color listed or would something close work? Is there a listing for each lesson of what is needed for that lesson so that the supplies can be gather ahead of time? I really like the supplies we got from Jerry's. The tempera paints are RAS (Real Art Supplies for kids) and they are really nice paints. Even Ms. Volin mentions how nice the paints are in lesson one or two of K. I got the chubby paintbrushes too...which are only suggested on the level K, I think. But, I'd use those at any level...they are really nice (nicer than I thought they'd be). It's hard to say if you need the exact colors. You definitely need the primary colors so you can mix and make secondary colors. I can't compare the paints or brushes to Hobby Lobby since I'm not able to shop there. Jerry's really packed everything we got nicely....with super heavy duty bubble wrap (I've never seen such sturdy bubble wrap).
