I have seen Childcraft: The Indian Book mentioned in several posts when I search, but I can't find any information about what I will find if I get the book. Can someone fill me in? Aurelia Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 IIRC (I'm not at home, so I can't check the book), there is a basic text about the tribe, including culture and history, then story, like a day in the life of a typical boy or girl, or stories that were told to the children of the tribe, and normally a craft project like making moccasins or a shell game. There's a brief blurb about the development of agriculture. Then, they try to hit the main tribe in each geographic location in the layout described by pp. The pictures are pretty good. I have the entire set from when I was a kid and this is one of them that I read repeatedly without prompting. I have it handy if you have any specific questions.
